Don’t fear the fire COVER REVEAL & life update
Hi Everyone!
I am so so excited to finally be able to reveal the front cover for Don’t fear the fire!
I want to say thanks to the amazing team at Cranthrope Millner for the design, and especially to Becca, who absolutely nailed my vision and ideas - I don’t think it could look any better!
This has made everything feel so so real, it’s only a matter of months until I can finally hold my debut novel after years of hard work (and lots of late nights).

I also thought I would include a quick update on both my life and my writing. In terms of personal life, I finished my first year of university (finally) and have averaged out a 1st, with an overall score of 74% - something I was hoping for but was certainly not expecting. I am now on a break from my studies until the end of January, and until then I have a final interview assessment (eeek) and I am working 5 days a week. I am throughly enjoying this new routine, as it has given me much more time to dedicate to both Don’t fear the fire and my current Work In Progress project (for those not in the writing world, also known as a WIP).
This leads me onto my next point - my writing! I am awaiting my second round of edits for DFTF and should be finalised by December/January time, which it will then get my final sign off and go to print!! In the meantime, I am working hard on marketing the book, mostly on TikTok and Instagram, as well as writing my latest project. I am not going to reveal anything about it just yet, but what I am going to say is that it is VERY different from DFTF. But nonetheless, I am having a blast writing it, with my current progress around 17k words and 14 chapters.
Despite the publishing date being many months away, I have also started to plan a book launch party for all my family and friends! I can’t wait to celebrate the release with all my loved ones (as well as get a super cute cake haha), so this is something I am really looking forward to!
In addition to my own writing, the InkLink team and I have been working super hard in the background planning our next event, which I can finally announce is “Chapter 1.5 Building Tension: After Dark.” So, if steamy settings and spicy scenes are your thing, make sure to follow @inklinkevents over on Instagram and TikTok to stay up to date on the latest news (18+ event, ID will be required).
Speak soon,
